Why a detective game makes a good gift
A book might already be on the shelf, a cosmetic might miss the taste, and an event ticket has a fixed date. An online detective game is different: it takes no space, comes in no size and does not wait for a courier. It gives something that is hard to buy in a shop: time spent together. Ostatni Odczyt is a criminal case for 1-6 players. An observatory in the mountains, a dead astronomer and a file the police closed too early. You play expert analysts appointed by a prosecutor: you read reports, measure traces on 1:1 sheets, compare timestamps from different devices and fill in the solution card yourselves. Nobody tells you who is guilty.
How a gift works, step by step
- Click Buy as a gift and enter the recipient's e-mail address, your name and a personal message.
- Choose the day the invitation should arrive (a birthday, Christmas, an anniversary). With no date it goes out right after payment.
- Pay with BLIK, a quick bank transfer or a card on the payment provider's page. We do not store payment details.
- The recipient gets an e-mail with an invitation and a code, enters the code on the account page, and access to the game stays on their account for good.
You get a copy of the code in your confirmation. You can print it, slip it into an envelope and hand the gift over in person, with the e-mail as a backup.

Frequently asked questions about gifts
Will the gift arrive in a box by post?
By default no: it is online access that goes to the recipient's e-mail. If the shop also offers a boxed edition, you will see it on the game page.
Can I choose the day the recipient gets the gift?
Yes. At checkout you pick a day from today up to a year ahead. The invitation with the code is then sent in the morning of that day. With no date it goes out right after payment.
Does the recipient need an account?
They do not have to create one beforehand. They sign in with Google or with a link sent by e-mail, and the account is created automatically at the first sign-in.
What if I mistype the e-mail address?
Write to us before the code is used and we will help to fix it. You will find the order number in your confirmation.
Can I get an invoice?
